We are made up of past players, youth football coaches, youth football commissioners, and youth football managers in some of the nation's most well-recognized youth football leagues.
The NFL Flag Football and Cheer is based in Los Angeles County serving the entire South Bay and adjacent communities to come out and enjoy the great game of flag football. Located in the South Bay the NFL Flag Football and Cheer program is a non-tackle, low impact program that welcomes all youth’s at any skill level and ages from 6 years old up through High School.
The league is run by a team of football savvy practical and hands-on experienced coaching staff, support staff, and board members. Each member has years of direct football experience from the coaches to the commissioners and board members. The league is run in association with the NFL flag football model, rules, and regulations. Football is a family.
Over the years players develop long-lasting relationships with their teammates. This is an experience we foster. This league is all about introducing football to new players and developing returning players. It is a developmental competitive flag football program that provides practices to develop each player's skills, knowledge, strength’s and abilities with games to experience firsthand the great game of flag football.
In-season, during each week the league offers two locally-based practices on weekdays and one official game played on a weekend day throughout the season. The end of each season, the qualifying team(s) may elect to take advantage of the opportunity of competing in the National NFL Flag Football playoff.
Professional Team Names and Official NFL Flag Football Uniforms; Registration includes an official NFL Flag Football uniform, NFL pro-team name use, all practices, games, administration support, and player services.
The coaching staff are pre-qualified, complete the NFL Flag Football and Cheer free Coaches Clinic and receive certification prior to each season.
Football requires a commitment on behalf of the players, coaches, and families. Attendance at practices and games are mandatory, exceptions only for health and well-being absentee purposes. The League runs in compliance with the NFL Flag Football Rules & Regulations program. Player Development; each player is evaluated for their overall skill set and strengths and assigned the closest matching position. Over the season, players may receive additional specialized coaching based on their position.
